My passion is helping others through this journey called “caregiving.” My journey started over 15 years ago while caring for my parents and then assisting my husband with his mother and seeing the stress it caused him, and now as a full-time caregiver for my sister. It has been both rewarding and frustrating at times, but it is now time for me to give back and share what I have learned along the way.

“There are only four kinds of people in the world. Those who have been caregivers. Those who are currently caregivers. Those who will be caregivers, and those who will need a caregiver.” ― Rosalyn Carter

In 2016, I started a caregiver ministry in my church and have recently expanded it into the community. My goal is to minimize stress for caregivers and assist them in being the best they can be by equipping them with the tools and support needed to navigate the day-to-day decisions of caregiving. As a Certified Senior Advisor, I provide personalized service on a range of issues from housing to Medicare so that caregivers can make confident and informed decisions that are unique to their loved one. Caregiving is not easy, but it is much easier if you are mentally, physically and spiritually prepared for the challenges ahead. Believe it or not, the hardest challenge you will face is taking care of YOU, I know, I’ve been there. Caregiver Consulting of Dallas is there to walk alongside you step-by-step.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Management from LeTourneau University and hold certifications from the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, Society of Human Resources and the Human Resources Certification Institute. I am a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, Society of Human Resources and the Dallas Area Gerontological Society.

All that I am, or hope to be, I owe to my parents.
